Ethan Hamilton joined Manchester United in 2014
Hamilton joined Manchester United from Edinburgh boys’ club Hutchison Vale in 2014.
The 18-year-old has played for United’s reserves since leaving Scotland to try and make it at Old Trafford.
And Hamilton has revealed he is settling in well in Mancheser now his mum has moved down too.
“Life is great at United, I’m really settled down there now,” he told the Daily Record.

“My mum has now moved down so it’s all good.
“Initially, my gran came with me and my mum was in Scotland on her own.
“She’s now down doing all my cooking and cleaning.”
Hamilton also paid tribute to fellow Scot Darren Fletcher, who left Manchester United for West Brom in 2015.

“Fletch was brilliant with me from day one,” he added.
“He’d see me in the canteen and come over. He’s a friendly guy so he made me feel really welcome.
“He knew I’d taken the same route as him so I suppose he wanted to take me under his wing a bit.
“But just seeing the way he carries himself, I tried to take bits of that and watch how he played as well.”
