Matteo Darmian would loved to have seen Andrea Pirlo at Manchester United
Matteo Darmian joined Manchester United in 2015 from Torino, becoming only the fifth Italian to ever play for the club.
The 27-year-old has claimed United have been missing out on some Italian flair over the years.
And the full-back has admitted he would have loved to have seen Italy legend Andrea Pirlo turn out for the Red Devils.
Andrea Pirlo is currently playing in the MLS with New York City
"I think in the history of Italy there are a lot of players so it’s difficult [to pick]," Darmian said.
"But if I have to choose one, I would probably choose Andrea Pirlo.
"I know him very well, I’ve played with him in the national team, so I know his qualities.
