Adnan Januzaj starred as Sunderland beat Crystal Palace at the weekend
Januzaj started as a striker alongside Jermain Defoe in Sunderland's 4-0 battering of Crystal Palace on Saturday.
And the Belgium international has hinted he would be open to starting up top with Defoe in the future.
"I really like playing with him [Defoe] even though he always asks for the ball," he told the Sunderland website.
"He’s an unbelievable striker and you can see that with his goals because they weren’t easy chances.
"He’s someone I can learn a lot from. In the last few games we’ve linked really well and I think we have a good relationship with each other.

Adnan Januzaj impressed as a striker when Manchester United beat Barcelona in 2015
"We’re enjoying playing together and hopefully he can score many more goals.
"Like I said before, it’s much easier for me and JD when the team are playing with confidence."
Januzaj was backed by former United boss Louis van Gaal to become a forward after scoring against Barcelona in pre-season in 2015.
"I have given him a chance in this [striker's] position and you have to look if he can do that or not," Van Gaal said.
"But he has a lot of quality and against Barcelona he showed it for the first time."
