And Lingard believes Morrison had more natural talent than Pogba.
"Ravel Morrison was the player that stood out," Lingard told the Sunday Times.
“I played with [Morrison] from eight, nine.
"He was that raw natural talent, the player who could do anything. If he wanted to score he’d just score.

"I still keep in contact. He lives at his mum’s in Warrington. It’s good he’s at QPR now. He’s such a talent and he can’t just throw it away. He knows he has to work hard and he’ll get his rewards."
However, Lingard believes Pogba was still a cut above the rest.
“Even at 18 nobody could tackle him and he scored goals and produced skills you shouldn’t be able to at that age," the England international added.
"In the Youth Cup every one of his performances was above 8/10, you knew he’d be a top player.”
