And now reports in Italy suggest the Red Devils are a step closer to reaching a deal having agreed personal terms with Lindelof.

Website CalcioMercato claims United have secured a pre-contract agreement with the Sweden international.
The report says Jose Mourinho's side have seen off competition from a number of Serie A clubs, including Roma.
Luciano Spalletti's side were said to have been chasing Lindelof as a potential replacement for Kostas Manolas who is tipped to leave in the summer.

Fellow Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a big fan of Lindelof and claimed last December he would be ready for the step-up to a team like United.
"He is growing. He has a lot of responsibility with the national team now," Ibrahimovic said.
"Is he good enough for United? I think he is ready for the big clubs out there.
Victor Lindelof is also said to be on Roma's radar
"It is up to him what he wants and what the situation says. Whatever he chooses, it will be good for him.
"I know he is hot on the market so let him make the right choice for him."
Lindelof has made 31 appearances for Benfica this season and is under contract with the Portuguese side until June 2020.
