MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER NEWS LIVE
7.20: Good morning and welcome to the Manchester United transfer news live blog.
We will bring you updates through the day of all the gossip and breaking news regarding Manchester United.
Sunday 4 June
21:50: Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says James Rodriguez's future will be decided by Zinedine Zidane.
"We're going to speak with Zidane, who's the conductor of this orchestra," he told Antena 3.
"If it were up to me, everyone would stay.
"James is an incredible player, but when you have so many.
"I'd have everyone stay. We'll speak with the coach; he is the person who will decide the future."
18.49: Wayne Rooney looks like he has played his last game in a Manchester United shirt.
Rooney was part of a Manchester United XI for Michael Carrick’s testimonial at Old Trafford today.
And the England international appeared desperate to score one last time in front of the home crowd.
Rooney was visibly irate when he wasn’t awarded a penalty late in the game and began shooting from distance at every opportunity.

His display further suggests he will be sold this summer.
Rooney could head to the MLS or China, while Everton are the only Premier League club linked to him.
16.44: Antoine Griezmann has explained why he will not be leaving Atletico Madrid this summer.
Manchester United were keen on landing Griezmann but have given up the chase for the France international.
Atletico Madrid are desperate to keep their start striker because a FIFA embargo preventing them from signing players this summer means they wouldn’t be able to bring in a replacement if Griezmann left.
"The ruling of the CAS has come through. Atletico cannot recruit. With my sporting advisor, Eric Olhats, we decided to stay,” Griezmann told Telefoot.
"It's a hard time for the club. It would be a dirty move to leave now. We talked to the leaders and we will be back for next season."

14.09: Manchester United have no intention of selling Anthony Martial.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury and Wayne Rooney’s likely departure means United are on the looking for new centre-forwards.
And there is no need to move Martial on, his agent Philippe Lamboley has told newspaper Journal du Dimanche.
“Martial has two years left and there is no reason for him to leave Manchester today,” Philippe Lamboley said.
“If (United CEO) Ed Woodward tells me they want him to leave, things are different.
“But that is not what he told me during our last meeting.”

12.48: Manchester United’s interest in signing Monaco midfielder Fabinho has taken a blow.
It was thought United were eyeing up a move for Fabinho – although the 23-year-old is not a priority target.
And Italian outlet Calciomercato claim United and their rivals Manchester City could lose out to AC Milan in the chase to land the Brazilian.
It is claimed Milan directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli spoke to Fabinho’s agent Jorge Mendes in Cardiff, where a number of Mendes’ clients were competing in the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus.
Fabinho is supposedly worth up to £52m.
12.35: David De Gea will get a new contract at Manchester United if he snubs Real Madrid this summer.
Real are pushing hard to sign De Gea but United are asking at least £70million for their star goalkeeper.
The Spain international is currently under contract until 2019.
But the Sunday Mirror claim a fresh £200,000-a-week deal will be offered if he pledges his future to the Old Trafford outfit.
Real have supposedly dropped their interest in Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois in order to focus on landing De Gea.

11.51: Alvaro Morata wants to stay at Real Madrid despite interest from Manchester United.
Morata has been linked with a move to United for weeks.
The striker appears to have dropped out of manager Zinedine Zidane’s regular first-team plans.
Express Sport understands Chelsea also want to sign the Spaniard.
But the Daily Mail claim he is going nowhere and that a proposed agreement for him to join AC Milan is off.
They claim United are still holding out hope of landing the player.
11.00: Manchester United are interested in signing Kylian Mbappe this summer – but they are not favourites to secure a deal.
Express Sport understands Arsenal are plotting a £95million bid for Mbappe after their £87m opening offer was rejected.
But the Sun claim Real Madrid are favourites to secure the 18-year-old.
According to the report, Monaco officials believe Real have the best chance to trump United and Arsenal and could go as high as £100m to snap up the France international.

10.30: Aston Villa want to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
Johnstone, 24, spent last season on loan at the Championship club – the sixth loan stint of his career.
The United academy product appears to not be in manager Jose Mourinho’s for the foreseeable future.
And the Daily Mail claim Villa are hoping to snap up the shot-stopper even if Real Madrid sign David De Gea.
10.15: Valencia have made a £30million bid for Ander Herrera.
The Sunday Mirror claim the deal has been put forward to bosses at Old Trafford.
Herrera was a regular under manager Jose Mourinho last season but Valencia’s manager, Marcelino, believes his previous work with the player at Real Zaragoza could tempt the midfielder to move back to Spain.
Manchester United are said to have snubbed the initial advance but Valencia owner Peter Lim is still keen to get a deal done.
