Manchester United may have to pay more than they thought should they wish to sign Antoine Griezmann, according to reports.

The Atletico Madrid striker has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, and it was suggested over the weekend, the Red Devils had set aside the No7 shirt for him.

Originally, it was believed United would have to stump up £86 million for his signature.

However, according to Spanish publication okdiario.com, the France international has a £95m release clause written into his contract.

Three clubs could come after Cesc Fabregas in the summer

Chelsea won’t have any shortage of interest for Cesc Fabregas in the summer, according to reports.

The Spain international has been limited to just five Premier League starts this season.

The 29-year-old recently admitted he felt ‘sad’ about his situation at Stamford Bridge.

And according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, three Italian clubs will challenge for his signature – Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan.

It is believed a bid of around £21m could be enough to secure a deal.

William Carvalho won’t be joining Liverpool this month, according to reports.

Claims were made yesterday suggesting Reds officials would fly out to Portugal to hold talks with the Sporting Lisbon midfielder.

But Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce has quashed talks of a prospective move.

In a Q&A, Pearce said: “He’s not a transfer target for LFC."
