
The Frenchman was left out of Manchester United's draw with Stoke on Saturday as Wayne Rooney scored a late goal to rescue Jose Mourinho's side a point.
When asked to explain Martial's absence from the matchday squad, Mourinho bluntly replied: "Martial was not selected.”
And according to the Daily Mail, Martial and his representative are upset over the winger being dropped completely.

The report suggests Mourinho was left unimpressed by Martial's display against Liverpool earlier this month as he struggled to find a way past 18-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Martial's exile for the trip to Stoke is just the latest in a series of problems the 21-year-old has endured this season.
He was reportedly frustrated that he had to give up his No9 shirt for Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival in the summer.

And last month his agent suggested Martial could leave on loan during the transfer window and Mourinho publicly warned his player he should listen to him and not his representative.
Despite their frosty relationship, Mourinho is unlikely to entertain any offers for the attacker having just sold Memphis Depay to Lyon.
