Is this how Manchester United could look with Antoine Griezmann
United are ready to back the Portuguese tactician's spending spree that could see them fork out around £130m for the pair.
Griezmann has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks and reports in France claim a deal has already been agreed in principle.
United deny any agreement, but are thought to be using Paul Pogba to persuade his France team-mate to leave the Vicente Calderon.
Meanwhile, Lindelof, who the Red Devils tried to sign during last month's window, is firmly in Mourinho's sights too.
Antoine Griezmann has an £86m release clause
Manchester United attempted to sign Victor Lindelof last month
The 22-year-old Sweden international came close to sealing a move to Old Trafford, but a deal fell through due to complications regarding Benfica having to make a payment to his first club Vasteras.
That stumbling block is now thought to be sorted. However, Lindelof's release clause is understood to have risen to £43m.
Griezmann's buyout clause stands at a staggering £86m but Mourinho is not put off by the fees.
And it seems United will have to dig deep if they want to buy into Mourinho's plans to take the club back to the big time.
