The centre-midfielder cost City £24million in 2010 after he signed from Barcelona.
During his Etihad career, Toure has proven to be a pivotal player in City’s team and helped them to two league titles.
Manchester United have lifted as many Premier League trophies as their neighbours since Toure’s moved to England.

“It's nice when you have to win week in, week out. It's brilliant and I feel happy when I'm winning because I don't like losing.”

But his future now looks settled with Guardiola, and up next is a trip to Bournemouth tonight (8pm).
A win would put Manchester City second and four points above six-placed United.
