Spanish newspaper AS claim Pep Guardiola wants to bring him to Manchester as he looks to revamp his midfield.
Guardiola has had a mixed start to life in England but Sunday’s win took them back into the top four and up to third spot.
They remain 10 points off league leaders Chelsea but have been given a lift by the arrival of Gabriel Jesus.
