Lucas Perez says Arsene Wenger has not even told the players his future plans
Arsene Wenger has just three months left to run on his Arsenal contract and has given no indication whether he will stay on in the summer.
The long-serving Frenchman has come under increasing pressure from supporters in recent weeks to leave the club.
And Lucas Perez has revealed Wenger has been similarly tight-lipped around the players – although he thinks he will sign a contract extension.
Many Arsenal fans want rid of Arsene Wenger in the summer
"The relationship I have with Wenger is good and I think he will continue, but he has not yet communicated it to anyone," Lucas told Spanish newspaper Marca.
"He is a normal person, very accessible, humble. Wenger knows all the people who work at the club and is always willing to help them."
Perez joined the Gunners in the summer from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season.

But despite reports he could leave the Emirates in the summer, the 28-year-old has claimed he is happy in north London.
"I had the bad luck to get injured in the first few months and that affected me but today I feel very capable of showing why they signed me," Perez added.
"I am trying to take the chances they give until they have 100 per cent confidence in me. The manager is happy that I am in the squad because whenever I play I have done well."
