Nick was heard telling Lorraine about the show’s future: “We aim to do bigger and better things all the time. We’ve got various amazing projects coming up this year.
“We’ve got six commissions until the end of the year and then outside of that I’ve been looking at how I can extend that in a much bigger way…"
It was then that the programme was plunged into darkness and the two stars were left bathed in a blue light.
“Could you get one of your builders in?” Lorraine joked to him as he added: “We need a torch!”
Luckily, order was soon restored to the studio as the lights came back on and the interview continued.
