Romanian tourist Miss Cristea was the fifth innocent person to be killed by Islamic State fanatic Khalid Masood’s outrage last month.
Senior Coroner Fiona Wilcox was told she was “knocked” into the river from Westminster Bridge when Masood drove into her.

Miss Cristea’s fiancé Andre Burnaz was also struck by the speeding Hyundai 4×4, but survived with a fractured foot.
Det Supt John Crossley of Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorism command, told the inquest the victim suffered “extensive brain injuries”.
He added: “During the attack she was knocked into the River Thames and was taken to the Royal London Hospital by ambulance.

“She was then taken to St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Her time of death was recorded as 3.11pm on April 6.”
Coroner’s officer Eric Sword said the main cause of death was “multiple organ failure” with a secondary cause given as “head injury” and “immersion”.
Neither engineer Mr Burnaz or any of Miss Cristea’s family attended the inquest at Westminster Coroner’s Court yesterday.

Dr Wilcox said: “I would just like to make this opportunity to pass on my condolences, in particular to her partner who was with her and was also injured at the time.”
He opened and adjourned the hearing and ordered that a pre-inquest review of the evidence should take place on May 19.
Masood’s car also struck and killed American tourist Kurt Cochran, 54, retired window cleaner Leslie Rhodes, 75, and Aysha Frade, 44.
After crashing the vehicle in the gates of the Houses of Parliament, he took out two knives and stabbed Pc Keith Palmer to death.
