The 52-year-old broadcaster grilled the MP standing for Staffordshire Moorlands on the ITV programme as she refused to ask whether there were less police officers now on the streets
He was heard asking the politician: “Do we have more or fewer armed police than we did in 2010?”
However, the Conservative politician did not directly answer the question and explained: “We have protected the counter-terrorism budget, which means specialist officers have been protected and we have increased in real terms.”
Morgan was forced to cut in and shout over her: “Let me ask you a very simple question, do we have more or fewer police officers than 2010?”
He made the comments as he recalled an incident from 2010 during Prime Minister Theresa May’s tenure as Home Secretary, where she criticised the police for “scaremongering” when many officers slammed the police cuts.
Again Bradley repeated what she’d just said, leading the Good Morning Britain presenter to shout over her to try and get an answer.
Piers Morgan slams Karen Bradley on Good Morning Britain
Culture Secretary Karen Bradley was grilled on Good Morning Britain
“She basically sneered at the these police officers,” Morgan told her.
Bradley explained that it was not just about the numbers but the powers, saying: “Theresa May has never shied away from giving powers to the police. The record is that Jeremy Corbyn votes against those powers that we have introduced and that’s the choice people will face on Thursday.
“Do they want Jeremy Corbyn – a man who votes against powers throughout the last 30 years, that he does not support powers of policing.”
As the Good Morning Britain debate continued to get even more heated, Morgan said: “In fact Michael Gove firmly recommended to her that she should be widened the umbrella of Islamist extremism that we could be catching in the power net and she resisted that and said it wasn’t necessary.”

Despite his best efforts, he did not seem to get an answer from the politician, leading many people to hit out at the MP on social media.
“Karen Bradley @CultureSecUK has been to the @theresa_may school of not answering questions. Well done @piersmorgan – deservedly savaged,” said one viewer.
Another added: “Piers Morgan at his most tenacious this morning ! Karen Bradley appeared avoidant and disengenuous regarding police cuts. Usually not a fan.”
A third added: “Karen Bradley just had a nightmare encounter with @piersmorgan. Repeatedly asked if no of armed cops up or down. Refused to say.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
