Jurgen Klopp has been a big fan of Stewart since since he arrived at Anfield in 2015.
Stewart had impressed on their pre-season tour last summer and subsequently featured as a substitute in four of Liverpool's first five Premier League games.
But the 23-year-old has only been named on the bench in the league on four occasions since then, with his only appearances coming in the EFL Cup and FA Cup.

After starting six games towards the end of last season, Stewart has now fallen down the pecking order at Anfield.
And The Times claim that his time at Liverpool could come to an end this summer.
The report claims Klopp will allow Stewart to leave in the next transfer window.

Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold have recently burst onto the scene at Anfield, proving Klopp is still keen to give opportunities to young players from the academy.
