And his talents have not gone unnoticed with Liverpool apparently interested in securing his signature.
The Reds tried to sign the Egypt international in 2014 when he was at Swiss side Basel and Brendan Rodgers was in charge, but he opted for a move to Chelsea instead.

It is suggested that Liverpool had a £28million bid knocked back by Roma after holding positive talks.
However, The Daily Mirror claim Liverpool are now ready to improve their offer in an attempt to get a deal over the line for Salah.
Talks are apparently ongoing with the Reds needing to stump up around £40m to land the winger.
Jurgen Klopp has been handed a £150m summer transfer kitty and he will be keen to use this to his advantage with a return to the Champions League group-stage being a real possibility.

But in order to make this happen Liverpool will have to win a play-off tie in August.
Reds boss Klopp looks set for a busy transfer window with Southampton star Virgil van Dijk and RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita being earmarked as priority targets.
Salah is contracted to Roma until 2019.
