Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren were both absent from Liverpool training yesterday as they prepared to face Tottenham.
The Liverpool Echo say Lallana was left out due to a tight muscle while Lovren is still recovering from the swollen knee which prevented him from playing against Hull last week.
But it is claimed there is hope both players will be fit for the weekend with another training session to take place today.

Liverpool are considering a move for Leicester City winger Demarai Gray.
The 20-year-old joined the Premier League leaders last January and has been in and out of Claudio Ranieri's favoured starting XI.
Gray scored in the 3-1 FA Cup win over Derby on Wednesday night to further stake his claim for a place in the Foxes side.
However, The Times claim Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the England under-21s international and has added him to his shortlist of summer targets.

Nathaniel Clyne says the Liverpool players owe Jurgen Klopp a positive result against Tottenham after their dramatic dip in form in January.
He told the Liverpool Echo: “We know that we owe the manager and the fans a big performance.
“It wasn’t good enough against Hull and there has to be a response. The fans will be up for it and we need to give them a boost.
“We haven’t won at home for a while and we have got to put that right. It won’t be easy because Tottenham are a very good side. But we’ve got the ability to beat them.
“We’ve proved we can beat anyone in this league this season and we need to get back on track.”
