Andy Walker thinks Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp needs a few January signings
Liverpool succumbed to a 3-2 defeat against struggling Swansea on Saturday, a result which saw them drop to fourth, 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.
The Reds have only beaten League Two Plymouth in their last six fixtures in all competitions, and Walker believes the absence of Joel Matip paired with a struggling defence is responsible.

Walker, who made over 150 appearances for Celtic, told Sky Sports News: "The one problem that seems to be the focal point for Jurgen Klopp is the centre of defence.
"If they can get Matip back fit, it gives them a lift, even in the dressing room.
"If they can get him back, they can deny the sloppy goals they have been giving away of late.

Andy Walker doubts Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren's ability to attack crosses
"Fernando Llorente scored the type of goal against Liverpool that Diego Costa would score – really aggressive in the air.
"I think that's where Liverpool's weak-link is. They've got Ragnar Klavan and Dejan Lovren, and they're not attacking the ball.
"James Milner has been really good as a full-back but I think they could do with a natural left-sided left-back.

"I think Liverpool need to strengthen in a number of positions. They need a goalkeeper, and certainly another signing in central defence.
"If you're continually conceding chances and leaking goals then that seeps through the whole team… which is a big problem."
