West Ham are set to travel to China and Hong Kong for the Asia Trophy with friendlies at the London Stadium unable to happen because of the World Athletics Championships.
It is reported Liverpool and Southampton are likely to join them in the lucrative pre-season tournament.

“Extensive discussions have taken place between the HKFA and the EPL over the last few months and an agreement in principle has been reached,” said Hong Kong Football Association chief executive Mark Sutcliffe.
“Final arrangements can’t be confirmed yet because the EPL is also in discussion with the mainland authorities regarding one of the match days being held in China.
“We understand these discussions are also at an advanced stage and an announcement with final details is expected within the next few weeks.”
Former Chelsea star Oscar is Shanghai SIPG's talisman
While Liverpool are yet to confirm their participation, the Reds look likely to agree to the lucrative competition.
The Premier League trio will face Shanghai SIPG, who sealed the £60million transfer of Oscar from Chelsea last month.
The Chinese side are also managed by former Blues boss Andre-Villas Boas.
