Liverpool have announced Philippe Coutinho has signed a new contract at the club.
Express Sport reported last night that Coutinho was set to sign a deal to nearly double his wages to around £150,000 a week, making him Liverpool’s highest-paid player.
Coutinho’s contract is expected to run for five years until 2022 and is NOT thought to have a relase clause in it.
The Brazilian has attracted interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid this season.
Jose Mourinho has decided he will not allow Anthony Martial to leave Manchester United in January.
The Daily Star say Martial was upset with Mourinho for dropping him for United’s draw with Stoke at the weekend.
