Speaking during a visit to the southern city of Breda, the PVV leader condemned Brussels officials for abandoning the Netherlands and has pledged to call an EU referendum if he wins the race to become the country’s next leader.
Mr Wilders told Dutch media: “The Netherlands has been given away to the EU for asylum seekers and everything that has nothing to do with the Netherlands. They are abandoned.”
Geert Wilders has long been a critic of the EU
He attended the rally with a significant security presence but appeared in good spirits ahead of next week’s election.
According to recent polls the race to become the next prime minister of the Netherlands is extremely close, with Mr Wilders locked in a tight battle with current leader Mark Rutte.
On the home stretch of their campaigns, the political rivals in the Netherlands are storming towards the finish line with no clear winner.

Five parties could finish first as Mr Rutte has failed to make his campaign message flourish. A staggering 40 percent of the electorate is yet to make up its mind.
Heading into the March 15 vote, it looks increasingly as though any winning party may have to seriously consider a coalition with right-wing Mr Wilders’ Freedom Party.
However, most mainstream parties have already ruled it out.

Mr Wilders’ Eurosceptic views have earned him a great deal of support during the campaign.
Last month, he branded the EU a “totalitarian organisation” and claimed “we will cease to exist” if the Brussels bloc does not introduce more immigration restrictions during a Newsnight interview.
He said: “We are facing an existential problem here.
“If we allow our borders to be open, if we are allowed to ignore the problems that we are facing today, let alone later in the century with the demographic situation in Africa, we will cease to exist.
Flanked by a security team, Wilders smiled and spoke to supporters in Breda
“The more that we import Islam… I’m not saying that all the people are extremist people, but the ideology and freedom are incompatible.
“Our values [and] our identity will not be taken away by the European Union but only by the Islamisation of our society.
“That does not work and I want it to be stopped.”
