Alfonso Pedraza joined Leeds on loan in January from Villarreal
Alfonso Pedraza joined Leeds in January on loan until the end of the season from La Liga side Villarreal.
The arrival of the 20-year-old winger was somewhat of a coup for the club and he could reportedly sign permanently for £8.5million if Leeds secure promotion.
Leeds assistant manager Pep Clotet has revealed he and Garry Monk had been tracking Pedraza since their time at Swansea.

However, the Spain Under-21 international's move to Elland Road could not have happened without the help of the club's new owner Andrea Radrizzani.
“When we were in Swansea, as we did not have resources there like other Premier League teams, we had to develop a good strategy to control the market, Spain, France, Germany and the Netherlands,” Clotet told Spanish newspaper Marca.
“And when we came to Leeds, we collected all the data, and there we were already aiming for Pedraza.
