You are not in the first flush of youth
Mr Justice Bodey
Yesterday at the High Court in London, Mr Justice Bodey said Ms Chai, of Berkhamsted, Herts, should receive a £64million package made up of cash and property.
Ms Chai and Dr Khoo, who both come from Malaysia, have five children from their 42-year marriage and spent more than £6million between them on lawyers since splitting.
Speaking when the hearing started last month, Mr Justice Bodey urged the pair to settle their differences and negotiate a deal, telling them: “You are not in the first flush of youth.”
The pair were unable to even agree on whether the case should be heard in Britain or Malaysia.
Dr Khoo, based in Malaysia, said it should be decided there because that was where the marital home was.

He said his ex-wife wanted it in Britain because a UK court would be more generous to her.
She said they had moved their home to Berkhamsted before separating and decisions should be made in the UK.
