Manchester United star David De Gea has told Real Madrid he could renew his contract with Jose Mourinho's side.
That is according to Spanish publication Diario Gol, who say the Spain international has threatened to stay with United if Real do not move swiftly for him.
De Gea was reportedly upset after his move to the Bernabeu fell through on transfer deadline day in 2015, after fax machine problems saw him stay in the Premier League.
And he wants a quick resolution to his future, supposedly telling Real they must make a bid soon or he will hand Mourinho a major boost by staying.
The report adds that United are demanding a fee of £63million to part with the 26-year-old, something Madrid are currently reluctant to meet.
