After going on loan to Rayo Vallecano last season and registering 33 league appearances, the defender now finds himself at Malaga.
Real have a host of stars out on loan with competition rife in Zindedine Zidane’s setup but Llorente says the club are keeping a close eye on him.
“Yes, on several occasions,“ he told Spanish publication Marca when asked if Real have been in contact with him.

“When I was injured they worried about me or at the beginning of this year I played less, they also had the detail of giving me encouragement and that kind of thing is important to me.
“They have been very aware of me.”

While Real currently lead Barcelona at the top by two points, Llorente is involved in a relegation scrap with Malaga.
But he insists he doesn’t regret choosing to move to Malaga last summer.

He added: “Not at all, because I'm learning a lot.
“I came here knowing that I was going to have Weligton [Oliveria] by my side, because I wanted to continue my training with someone experienced.
“It was the fact that he could not play and at first I had a bad time because I did not quite understand [Bakary] Kone.
“I think that with Luis [Hernandez] I have been calmer, we understand each other very well.
“I had seen him play in Castile and now I can combine my youth with his experience. There is rapport between the two.”
