The 38-year-old businesswoman and television presenter opened up about her horrific experiences on today’s edition of Loose Women.
She told fellow panelists Ruth Langsford, Saira Khan, Janet Street-Porter and guest Karen Danczuk about her abuse at the age of seven.
Katie explained: "I was seven years old in a park in Hove, it was just some weirdo.
"I've been abused and raped since then, but I'm not going to say who or what or whatever.”
She then went on to explain her drastic change of career following the abuse: "I was training to be a nurse, and then I got offered the chance to do glamour modelling.
"I think it was because you're being sexy but men can’t look or touch. It's all about control."

I've been abused and raped since then, but I'm not going to say who or what or whatever
Katie made the candid admission after co-host Ruth, 56, said: “Karen now believes that the provocative dressing and the selfies [were a result of sexual abuse]. Do you believe anything of your glamour career had anything to do with that?”
Along with her frankness, a clip from Piers Morgan’s Life Stories was played in which Katie was seen breaking down as she recalled being rape.
The topic came up after former Labour councillor Karen, 33, was on the ITV lunchtime talk show and said that the sexual abuse at the hands of her bother Michael Burke led her to post sexy selfies of herself on social media.

In a previous interview on Good Morning Britain earlier this year, Karen told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: “Now when I look back I think, ‘My word, it’s awful’. I think I was trying to prove I was wanted, that people wanted me. It was just approval, this has happened but I’m still a woman.”
Her older brother Michael Burke was jailed for 15 years in 2016 for a number of sexual assaults on her and two other women.
She previously described her sibling as a “monster” who “robbed me of my childhood” and left her feeling suicidal.
