Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was disappointed with Liverpool's defeat to Southampton
Liverpool needed to score at Anfield to have any chance of progressing to the final at Wembley next month and the Reds had a number of chances.
But Shane Long’s late strike ended the Reds hopes and gave Southampton a 1-0 win which sent the saints to their first major final since 2003.
And after the defeat Klopp insisted the better side progressed to the final.
