Sadio Mane could feature for Liverpool against Chelsea
Mane missed the decisive penalty for Senegal on Saturday but should touchdown in Merseyside tonight after the club put on a private jet.
Liverpool chartered a plane to meet Mane in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, on Sunday – but manager Jurgen Klopp revealed there was a hold-up in getting him back to England.
“We tried to bring him back as soon as possible,” Klopp said. “We thought it would be possible yesterday but he was not allowed to go in the plane.

“He will be here tonight at some point and then we have to see. I spoke to him, and it’s all good so far. He will be in tomorrow morning and then we have to make a decision.”
Klopp hinted that it might be too much to ask to start Mane against Chelsea, but he is certainly in the frame to play from the beginning at Hull in the Premier League on Saturday.
He said: “It was a strange situation in the game against Cameroon, I didn’t wish for a second that he missed a penalty.
“Will he be an option for the Chelsea game? We have to see. He is certainly an option for the Hull game. We have a really good player available for selection. It’s good news.”
