Sadio Mane missed a penalty in Senegal's shoot-out defeat to Cameroon
Liverpool have arranged a private jet to fly Mane back from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mane and Senegal were dumped out of the competition by Cameroon at the quarter-final stage on Saturday after losing 5-4 on penalties.
But the Reds winger is unlikely to feature in Liverpool’s title showdown with Chelsea at Anfield tomorrow night (8pm).
Sky Sports reporter Vinny O'Connor said: "We're hoping to hear from Jurgen Klopp over what role Sadio Mane might have against Chelsea.
"Mane is due back from the African Nations Cup but it's my understanding he's unlikely to train with his team-mates today.
"It means it effectively, at the very least, would rule out a starting role against Chelsea."
