Jose Mourinho is not keen to add to his squad in January
Manchester United are yet to sign anyone in the current transfer window but have sold Memphis Depay to Lyon and Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton.
The Red Devils have been linked with a big-money move for Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann this week.
However, Mourinho has suggested any transfer business conducted by United is likely to be done in the summer, calling the January window "not easy".
"I think for some positions we are comfortable in numbers even thinking and believing," Moruinho said.
"Because I have to believe, that we go further in the cup competitions and we have lots of matches to play.
“We have an accumulation of fixtures in April, May and we have Europa League matches playing on Thursdays, Premier League matches on Sunday because I don’t see us getting a little bonus of having a match on Monday.
“Some positions we are going to have problems because we don’t have so many options but in injury terms we are successful and hopefully we won’t have many problems and we have conditions to fight in all the competitions we are in.
“I always think the best time is the summer market I always consider the January market as an emergency one where you can try to resolve some problems.
"Where they can try to give a little boost to the team but it’s not an easy market, I have to admit that.”
