Jose Mourinho wants to splash the cash at Manchester United to turn them into genuine title challengers.
Mourinho spent around £150million on Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic after taking over at Old Trafford.
And according to The Sun, the United boss wants to kick off another summer of spending with a £40m move for Tottenham star Eric Dier.

Mourinho apparently thinks the 23-year-old is the man to replace Michael Carrick in United’s midfield.
Carrick’s contract expires at the end of the season and has revealed he could retire if he is not offered fresh terms.
The Portuguese boss is also keen on landing Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann – who would take Wayne Rooney’s place.

Rooney is wanted by former club Everton but apparently favours a move to the hugely affluent Chinese Super League.
Griezmann could be used in the No 10 role at United behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is in talks over extending his stay in Manchester.
Griezmann has a release clause worth around £87million (€100m) at Atletico with boss Diego Simeone admitting he could leave this summer.

And Mourinho also wants a centre-back to bolster his defence.
The Manchester United boss could be set to offload Daley Blind, who has yet to be offered a new deal at the club.
