Jose Mourinho wants to spend big in the summer
Mourinho has already compiled a list of targets and sent them off to the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
The Portuguese tactician is expected to be given a kitty of £200million to spend on new players.
United have been tracking several stars, with Mourinho desperate to turn them into serious title contenders next season as well as compete effectively in the Champions League.
Reports emerged last night claiming United made a £52.4m bid for Alvaro Morata which was turned down by Real Madrid.
