Liverpool have been told they are unable to play Joel Matip during the Africa Cup of Nations after the defender refused a call-up.
Jurgen Klopp was informed on Monday that FIFA will decide at some point today if Matip's eligibility should be investigated.
But the Liverpool boss is yet to hear any news from the football governing body about whether Matip can play in tomorrow's match against Swansea or if any further action will be taken

"I have to concentrate on other things – but I am informed and there is no news."
Matip has not represented Cameroon since 2015 yet he was still named in Cameroon's preliminary squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Under FIFA regulations, the 25-year-old could be suspended from playing for his squad for the duration of the tournament in Gabon, meaning he could also miss the crucial match against Chelsea at the end of the month.
