Ken Skupski wants to face Jurgen Klopp in a tennis match
Kop fan Ken Skupski took to Centre Court with partner Jocelyn Rae today to face home favourite Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis in the mixed doubles quarter-finals.
Murray and Hingis are the No.1 seeds in the competition but Skupski has other things on his mind.
After beating No.12 seeds Max Mirnyi and Ekaterina Makarova 5-7 6-4 9-7 in the last round, Liverpool-mad Skupski revealed his dream of playing with the Liverpool boss.
He's tried to set a match up but, so far, his calls have fallen on deaf ears.
Jurgen Klopp demonstrating his tennis skills
Skupski said: "I've always wanted to play tennis with Jurgen.
“I've heard his whole family play and he built something at Melwood.
"I've tried to get in touch but it's hard. I don't know who to contact to make it happen.
“It’s always nice to be recognised for the things you are doing, both me and my brother have had a lot of support back home in Liverpool.”
