Israel’s front line girls strip off and look more like Victoria’s Angels than battle-hardened troops.

The Israeli military is more a case of PHWOAR than war if the Hot Israeli Army Girls Instagram account is anything to go by.

The account, which should send temperatures to nuclear levels, has 116,000 followers and more than 2,000 stunners have uploaded images of themselves posing in army fatigues, with guns and in bikinis.

With ages ranging from 18 to their twenties, there are an array of pouting pictures and sexy selfies on the account.

So why are there so many attractive young women in the Israeli Army?

Military service is compulsory for all Jewish Israeli citizens who are physically and mentally fit enough to do it.

National service begins from the age of 18 for men and women, who must all complete a minimum of two years service, including frontline deployments.

But, although the account has been a hit with several lust-filled followers, it has landed some of the more raunchy girls in hot water.

It has emerged that the Israel Defense Forces said it had punished a group of women for “unbecoming behavior” after some pictures appeared on other local news sites.
