The excitement continues to build with the impending arrival of the iPhone 8 set to be one of the biggest tech launches of 2017.
Having just celebrated the iPhone’s 10th anniversary, Apple is expected to pull out all of the stops for its all-new smartphone.
Rumours are rife that the US technology giant is planning to include some fresh new features on the iPhone 8 with the device expected to come packed with a new AMOLED display that will cover the entire front of the smartphone.
An updated Touch ID fingerprint scanner that sits under the display is reportedly in development and facial recognition may help unlock the phone faster and more securely.
New processor, updated dual-lens camera and wireless charging could also be included.
With all these new inclusions the iPhone 8 will, no doubt, be hugely popular but when will it get an official launch?

iPhone 5 – September 12th 2012
Checking these dates reveals Apple generally prefers a Tuesday or Wednesday to announce their latest and greatest phones.
Taking a look at the calendar ahead, and using the previous launch dates, it seems Apple may choose either Wednesday September 6 or Wednesday September 13 to reveal all.
Although this is just speculation, one thing we do know is that we’re unlikely to get an official release date until a few weeks before.
Apple doesn’t usually send out invites to its iPhone launches until the very last minute.
And, even if Apple does launch its iPhone 8 in early September, don't expect to see it in stores until much later that month.
Some rumours are even suggesting the device will be so popular, Apple fans may not be able to get an iPhone 8 for months after it's launched.
