The iPhone 8 could already be delayed as Apple looks to include even more detail
Apple fans waiting for the iPhone 8 release date may have to hold their enthusiasm for a little while longer, according to a new report.
The company’s next new smartphone is already facing delays as Apple looks to cram in as much as it can into the device.
Originally expected to be released in September, in keeping with Apple’s typical launch structure, reports have now claimed that the iPhone 8 may not appear until October or even November.

Apple iPhone 8 will debut a brand-new all-glass look, with a curved OLED display and no physical Home Button
The delay appears to be down to issues sourcing one of the most crucial parts of the new device.
Apple is expected to launch several new devices this year, with the flagship iPhone 8 revealed alongside an iPhone 7S and 7S Plus.
Rumours have long claimed that the iPhone 8 will feature an overhauled 5.8in display as Apple looks to mark the tenth anniversary of the original device’s launch.
This display will be more detailed and higher-resolution than any previous device thanks to the use of OLED panels, which offers a huge step-up from the LCD units used in many modern devices.
However it is these amazing OLED displays which could lead to delays in getting the iPhone 8 out on time.

The iPhone 8 could feature a truly eye-popping display
The news was revealed by Drexel Hamilton analyst Brian White, who claims that although the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus will appear in September, the iPhone 8 will not.
Quoting his sources from Apple’s supply chain, White said that they, “strongly believe” that the iPhone 8 will be delayed by several weeks but will appear in time for the December holidays.
“This is not the first time that we have heard about a potential delay with a new iPhone; however, our contact was so emphatic about the delay that we are taking this data point more seriously,” he added in a note seen by BGR.
White also revealed that Apple has a number of exciting new features planned for the iPhone 8 to make the most of this amazing new display.
This includes new 3D sensing features that will revolutionise how you interact with your device.
3D Sensing will allow users to open their phone with a scan of their face, adding an extra layer of security, and could also be used to authorise payments made by Apple Pay.
The technology could also help improve how you make phone calls, replacing the proximity sensors currently used to tell when a phone is being held near your ear.
