Apple iPhone 8 will debut a brand-new all-glass look, with a curved OLED display and no physical Home Button
Siri has been one of Apple’s iconic iPhone features since it was first launched with the iPhone 4S back in 2011.
The service has enjoyed a number of upgrades and improvements recently as Apple looks to forge ahead in the battle with competing devices such as the Android-powered Google Assistant.
Apple opened up Siri to third-party developers earlier this year as it looked to expand the reach of its voice assistant.
This includes moving Siri on to Mac devices for the first time as part of macOS Sierra, where it is easily accessible from the Dock, menu bar or keyboard.
Siri will come to Mac devices later this year with the release of macOS Sierra
This means you can search for things on your computer with your voice.
For example, you can ask Siri to locate a specific document you worked on last night, add a meeting to your calendar or start a FaceTime call.
Users can even ask Siri to do tasks including “Increase my screen brightness”, “Start my screen saver” or “Turn Wi-Fi off”.
Siri also recently received an upgrade on mobile devices in the release of Apple's latest iOS 10 software.
The update means Siri will be able to use machine learning to predict words you plan to use in text conversations as well as find faces in your photo albums.
In one of Apple's biggest moves, Siri will also be opened up to third-party developers for inclusion in their apps, paving the way for users to hail a ride from Uber or send a message with Tencent's WeChat using voice commands.

The iPhone 8 is set to be launched later this year by Apple
Apple has declined to comment on the reports so far, but an upgrade to Siri would be the latest improvement set to be introduced to the iPhone 8.
The next device from the company is set to be a major overhaul from past releases as Apple marks the tenth anniversary of the original iPhone launch.
Set for release later this year, the iPhone 8 could feature a mix of futuristic and classic Apple design influences as the company looks to wow the world again.

The iPhone 8 is set to feature a revolutionary new design from Apple
Apple is reportedly planning a return to an all-glass build for the smartphone, marking a department from the aluminium-based design it has used for its past few devices.
This includes dropping the iconic Home Button in order to achieve an all-glass front for the device – which also means a larger display for the device.
With the Home Button gone, Apple can extended the display to the bottom of the phone – reducing the chunky bezels around the screen, and shrinking the overall footprint of the device.
Reports have claimed that Apple will incorporate the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, usually located in physical Home Button, beneath the glass display.
