But Manchester United players have come in for criticism for signing about Manchester City following the attacks in the city earlier this week.
Manchester United players dedicated last night’s victory to the people involved in Monday’s tragedy.
Suicide bomber Salman Abedi killed 22 and injured more than 100 others after detonating a device at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.
But United’s Europa League final against Ajax went ahead as planned in Stockholm.
Jose Mourinho’s side sealed a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Henrik Mkhitaryan to beat the young Dutch side and secure a place in next season’s Champions League.

But Mancunian Jesse Lingard posted a video on Instagram of the team singing the traditional United song ‘Why don't City f*** off home’.
“U-N-I-T-E-D," the player sung in the dressing room.
“United are the team for me.
“With a knick knack paddy whack give a dog a bone.
“Why don't City f*** off home.”
He has since deleted it but it has been posted on Twitter and branded disgraceful.

And it’s caused a stir on social media and been branded insenstive following the Manchester attack.
“I love you to bits @ManUtd but abit disrespectful….. Tonight was about standing together #WeStandTogether,” wrote Kath Tyler.
Dave77 added: “The words think before you act come to mind.”
Harriet Singh said: “Classy from Manchester United. Shows how much do they actually care about what's happened back home.”

Colm O Brien said: “City show class respecting MUFC tonight and Lingard posts a video from inside the dressing room of Utd players chanting "City fuck off home.”
Joe Garden said: “Shameful I disagreed with many of my fellow city fans who supported utd today… but this is lack of respect towards those city fans who did.”
Between the lines: “I would like to believe any decent human being would want to be respectful to those who have shown respect to you.
“This is shameful.”
J.A.M.I.E said: “Wish Lingard would be careful with the things he posts on social media, no need to disrespect the city fans who shown their respects for us.”
Lingard also famously posted a video from inside the team coach as it was being attacked on the way into Upton Park for West Ham’s last ever game there.
And Mourinho is believed to be keen on cracking down on his players’ social media activity.
