Numerous handbrake turns can be seen as the joyrider pays no regard for fellow drivers in the Spencer Dock area of the city.
At one dramatic point, the car is seen driving the wrong way down the main road. In another, the car heads through a junction.

Tyre marks were visible on the grass and road where the car had been raced before it was driven into the Royal Canal.

At least four people have died and at least 20 others have been injured by an out-of-control car in Australia’s second largest city, according to reports.

But the driver has appeared to have escaped the scene unhurt. He can be seen jumping out of the car moments before it goes over the wall and into the canal.
A Garda spokeswoman said the incident had been reported to them.
She said there had been no reports of injuries but the car had been reported stolen and the matter was under investigation.
