The vile terrorist’s cowardly assault on Westminster killed four people, including brave PC Keith Palmer who attempted to stop him, and left 40 more injured.
But people who knew the twisted killer in the past have claimed he attempted to get specialist help to curb his violent bloodlust, and has even told friends “I dream about blood. I dream about killing someone”.
After receiving a conviction for criminal damage in 1983 at age 18, Masood settled down in the village of Northiam in Sussex.
Friends became concerned when he fell in with the wrong crowd, drinking heavily and taking drugs just a few years after school where he was known for being “very popular”.
The future terrorist turned a knife on his friend, saying he 'wanted blood'
Kenton Till, one of his closest friends at school, said: “I remember he came to a New Year’s party at my house with a group of lads who were drunk and on something and my parents asked them to leave.
“After that we sort of lost touch.”
In July 2000 Masood was jailed for slashing the face of local pub landlord Piers Lott after allegedly being subjected to a racial slur.
Lee Lawrence, who was friends with Masood before his prison time, said: “There were some big boys in the pub, and they couldn’t stop him.

“He was stronger than a bull. If you went for him, he would do you with a knife.
“I was driving past and I saw what was happening.
“I got out of my truck and said everybody just get back in the pub and leave him with me.
“His eyes had rolled and he was out of this world.”
But when Mr Lawrence attempted to calm down his then-friend, the future terrorist turned the knife on him – and revealed his twisted lust for blood.
Flowers have been laid down in the memory of those who died including PC Keith Palmer
Mr Lawrence added: “He had the knife against my throat and he is going: ‘I want some blood, I want some f** blood, I want to kill someone.’
“After he calmed down a bit he was saying: ‘What have I done? What am I doing? I am going for help, I just want blood or I want to kill someone.’
“He said he was having help, some kind of anger management.”
Masood, 52, was born Adrian Russell Ajao in Kent but had a number of aliases and was also formerly known as Adrian Elms.

Until recently Masood had been living in Birmingham, although he was reportedly married to a woman who lives in an Olympic Village apartment in East London.
The father-of-three was brought up in Kent before converting to Islam in prison.
He was said to be a "fitness freak" and gave his occupation as English tutor on several forms over the years.
Although the middle-aged thug was never convicted for terrorism, Masood was known to MI5 and was on the “periphery" of the extremist scene.
