Holly Willoughby is set to nearly double her fortune with a new venture into interior design
But Holly Willoughby is also now poised to become the UK’s wealthiest female TV presenter.
The popular This Morning hostess, 35, is set to almost double her personal fortune from £11million to £21million by going into the interior design business with Peter Jones of Dragons Den fame.
Ms Willoughby has already made millions of pounds from her presenting career, a lucrative contract with the beauty giant Garnier and side projects including designing homeware and clothing.
But the accomplished businesswoman has also now set up Truly Group Ltd with Mr Jones’s wife Tara Capp and will reveal plans for the business later this year.
Last night, a branding expert predicted that the venture could net her at least a further £10million, making her the UK’s wealthiest female TV presenter ahead of Davina McCall, Mary Berry and Nigella Lawson.

Phil Pallen, the Los Angeles-based brand strategist and social media expert for celebrities, explained: “We can definitely expect her to earn £10 million, if not more.
Given her previous success in similar projects it seems like a natural fit
“Many celebrities in the UK have parlayed their fame into successful home and lifestyle brands – Kylie Minogue and Kelly Hoppen come to mind.”
He added: “Holly’s wholesome, relatable public image, as well as her background – education, family and fame – make this a natural fit.
“Given her previous success in similar projects it seems like a natural fit, especially when partnered with equally recognisable Peter Jones.”

Holly and Philip Schofield at the National Television Award just last week
Miss Willoughby has been close friends with Mr Jones and Ms Capp for some time. She and her husband Dan Baldwin holidayed with the couple in Portugal last year.
In addition to her business interests, her presenting career continues to go from strength to strength, securing another National Television Award just last week alongside fellow This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield.
Mr Pallen believes her new business venture could see her almost double her already impressive fortune, leaving her with a pot of around £21million, eclipsing nearest female TV presenting rivals Nigella Lawson who has an estimated £18million, Mary Berry’s £16 million, Davina McCall, who has earned £14million from her TV shows, books and DVDs, and catalogue model Myleene Klass on £11million.

This Morning was thrown into chaos as Holly Willoughby and Gino D'Acampo took on the Christmas cocktail challenge
He said: “It’s an interesting move for Holly because a more obvious route would be fashion/clothing. But I think interiors is different enough that it will pique people’s interest.
“Don’t forget she spends a lot of time sitting on a couch on her morning show, so we’re accustomed to seeing her in this environment.
“If she positions her brand properly, I believe she can achieve great success using her public platform.”
Mr Pallen added: “I’m interested to see what direction she takes – if it’s kept as more of a high-end boutique service, or if she launches products that are accessible to a wider audience, likely through e-commerce or partnerships with retailers.
“Either way, I believe many UK consumers trust her taste and respect her brand.

“We know she’s got great taste. She’s even flown the flag for the British high street.
“I’m confident that her interiors product and/or service will be equally affordable and on trend, which is akin to her fashion sense.”
Miss Willoughby currently earns £400,000 a year by presenting This Morning, and has a contract with Garnier as a brand ambassador.
She has swelled her earnings through her clothing ranges for Very and BHS as well as designing homeware.
She is expected to unveil the plans for the new business venture later this year.
