Three other leading members of the gang, nicknamed the Diamond Wheezers because of their age, were each jailed for seven years.
John Collins, 75, Terry Perkins, 67, and Jones, 61, admitted the same offence.
William Lincoln, 60, was found guilty of conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to conceal criminal property.
