This is the frightening image of a man dressed in a pig mask who went on a shooting rampage
The man, caused panic and mayhem as he walked near a Rolex watch shop in the famous Bellagio Hotel wielding a gun near guests.
Residents and guests fled from the scene in a bid to avoid the shooter.
Frightened guests took to Twitter to post images of the gunman roaming around in the pig mask.
Early reports suggested that the shooting could be linked to a robbery of a Rolex shop inside the hotel.
Police have arrived on scene but it is not known if anyone is hurt.
According to the New York Daily News, the man broke into a jewellery store inside the legendary Bellagio early on Saturday morning.

Police arrived on scene wearing tactical gear, videos on social media show.
An eyewitness described the man as being of “stocky build” after she saw him wearing all black standing guard outside the Rolex shop.
The woman, named only as Kira, described how he was “screaming at people, get out! get out!” and “pointing his gun, making sure that anyone who was close just got away.”

Chaos erupted at the Las Vegas hotel after the man in a pig mask sent the place into lockdown
Hoards of people took to Twitter after midnight to report that an active shooter was on the loose.
But a Las Vegas police man disputed these accounts and told The New York Daily News that there had been "an armed robbery."
Eyewitnesses said that the man was later led away by armed police.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have not confirmed whether he was arrested.
