Alfonso Pedraza is nearing a loan move to Leeds
Alfonso Pedraza is a product of the Villarreal academy and has been on loan with Spanish second-tier side Deportivo Lugo this term.
The 20-year-old has had his loan spell cut short with the Spanish side and is close to joining Leeds.
And Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague is delighted with the loan deal, calling it one of the most exciting transfers of the window.
“It’s one of the most exciting transfers of the winter even though he’s not every well known,” Balague told Sky Sports.
“He’s a 20-year-old, he mirrors himself on Denis Cheryshev – a winger who goes forward and works really hard.
“And he’s a goalscorer, he was on loan in the second division with Lugo and made an impact.
