GTA 5 Online will be updated next month, PC fans can check out the new map expansion soon
While there are several reports floating around that March will see the next substantial content boost for GTA 5 Online, fans shouldn’t forget Valentine’s Day.
While there are no guarantee we will see new DLC released or even announced, the usual even content tied to Valentine's Day will be re-released by Rockstar.
There’s no current word on what the next big project from the studio will be, in fact, some believe that we may have already had it.
It appears that the Import/Export DLC released late last year was supposed to be the last big hurrah for the game, plans have since changed due to the popularity of GTA Online.
It means that the content releases from now on will probably reflect the change in emphasis, that they will not be as expansive and will probably not bring any new mechanics to multiplayer.
“I talked about the devs being "out of resources", but what does that mean? Well, apparently Rockstar North is"divided" in 4 parts as of right now," trusted source Yan2295 writes.

“Some people are helping San Diego with RDR2, some people started working on the next GTA, and some people are working on another game.
“So you're left with only a few people to work on GTA Online. You can't have updates as big as we had in the past when you have 4x less devs working on GTA Online, that's just impossible.”
For those disappointed by this new update, there is a new alternative being worked on.
A group of modders, OpenIV, have taken on the mother of all challenges by attempting to bring Liberty City from GTA IV to Los Santos.
And they’ve just posted the first pictures of the ambitious project.
The first version of the new mode could arrive by Spring, although given its gestation period, it’s fair to say there could still be a few bumps along the way.

“We do not have exact or even estimate dates, but for now we are plan to release first version of Liberty City during the spring season (March, April, May).”
Fans should be warned that by downloading this new mod, they will not be able to launch GTA 5 Online without running the risk of being banned by Rockstar.
Fans who want to run the new version of GTA 5 will need to:
- Download a convertor tool with some additional assets. This tool will convert Liberty City from your copy of GTA IV into GTA V.
- The converter tool will create a single player DLC pack, which will be installed into your GTA V.
- The convertor tool requires a lot of free space on your hard drive. The OpenIV is also required because the convertor tool uses it during conversion process.
- OpenIV have also added a disclaimer, warning fans that by downloading this mod, there will be a high probability that they could get banned by Rockstar.
