For its latest Doodle, Google has unveiled a Valentine's Day themed mini game
Google has rolled-out a new Doodle ahead of Valentine's Day.
Themed around the day of love, the latest Google Doodle takes over the US search engine's homepage in countries across the globe, including Canada, United States, Argentina, Australia, France, UK and more.
The addictive interactive game sees players control a pangolin, as he races around a complicated maze of platforms to collect items for his Valentine's.
There are four levels in total, with three minutes gameplay allocated for each level, and each prefaced with a animated cut scene.
On desktop and laptop computers, players have to use the arrow keys to navigate, with the Space Bar used to make the pangolin to jump.
Meanwhile, those on mobile devices, like the iPhone 7 or Google Pixel, will see two virtual arrow keys appear in the game, as well as a dedicated jump button. Holding or tapping on these will move the character.
The latest Google Doodle highlights the plight of the endangered pangolin
For its latest Doodle, which is almost as addictive as this Dinosaur one, Google worked in collaboration with World Wildlife Fund to help spread awareness about the pangolin.
"Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal in the world, and all 8 species face a significant threat from poachers and smugglers," Google posted on its blog.
"Check out the World Wildlife Fund to learn more about the the pangolin’s plight and to support WWF’s efforts to save the pangolin and other endangered species."
