Alex, who was married to the football star for nearly a decade, was on today’s edition of This Morning to speak about the supernatural goings-on in her home.
Ever since George died 12 years ago, the 45-year-old model and author said she had felt his presence in her life.
She said that lights had been switched on and off in her house, while furniture had been moved and items went missing then turned up later on.
She said it was “up to everyone else to believe” and admitted that she only decided to speak up about it now after it came out in the papers.
Alex only started to think she could be getting visits from George, who died in 2005, after she was told by American medium Michael Codori that the Manchester United star loved her too much to leave.
“He was there and he did a reading for me because there have been quite a few things that have been happening to me. I have moved three times and things keep happening to me,” she explained.

The writer, who was married to George between 1995 and 2004, said weird things started to happen shortly after his passing.
“In the morning I went to go, I walked past the hotel bathroom and every single tap and shower turned on,” she said.
Alex added: “It’s just strange little things. I’ll have a top and it’s gone. I’ll take everything and I put it back and a week later it will turn up.”
