
Neville was defiant in his praise for the Arsenal manager after their 3-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
Gunners fans turned on Wenger after a second Premier League defeat in a row left their title bid in tatters.
Neville slammed the protests as ridiculous, instisting Wenger is still the right man for the job.
"I walked out the Chelsea ground yesterday and there was a couple of these Arsenal fan TV camera things everywhere and to be honest it was embarrassing listening to it and watching it," he said.

"I was watching Chelsea fans take the mickey out of them which was a bit funny and I was watching Arsenal fans slating and slanging into him [Wenger] and I thought to myself, he doesn't deserve that, that's the one thing he doesn't deserve – he's done an unbelievable job."
Fans have since called out the Manchester United legend – demanding he face the music on Arsenal's fan television channel.
And Neville has taken to Twitter to confirm he's willing to make a guest appearance.
"Be happy to…" he replied to a fan when asked whether he would go on Arsenal Fan TV.

Arsenal will be aiming to make amends for their recent defeats when they go up against Hull on Saturday (12.30pm).
